This is a very solid sound card in terms of what your final result sounds like. It definitely changed the way of my final sound material. The only problem is with drivers and installation, both hardware and software. By putting it into a motherboard slot you should worry that it has to be the one the most distant from AGP because you will experience troubles with installation and proper functioning. Also I get bad results with my CD ROM and it is placed below the Terratec rack on the front. I couldn t solve the problem playing CDs with music - I constantly get strange sounding CD like it is pitchshifted. But overall it is a great card when you work with sequencer programs, soft synths, etc. The ASIO latency could be set to minimum and it gives you the possibility to have comfort in you work.
