This card has been the worst piece of audio gear I have ever bought. I have a Intel P4 2.4 ghz process plugged into an asus p4p800 deluxe motherboard with a gig of ram. My computer worked great until I installed the 1820. After installing the card it worked great the first time. But thats all you get!!! After that My computer would crash every time I the emu controller panel opens and would restart it self. This loop will continue until you go into safe mode and un-install the whole thing. I am taking it back today to exchange it for an m-audio card. I would not recomended anyone purchase this card. Oh yeah their tech support sucks too and they couldn't even fix it.

this soundcard is a winner. there is simply no equivalent on the market. DSP effect/mixer is great fun and highly professional. associated with cubase (5ms asio), it become the cheapest of one of the best home studio ever.
