I have owned the PCR50 for over two years now and still play it at least two times a week. Overall I am impressed with the sound quality and realism it generates through my VST and HP250n. Along with my Roland monitors I can not get enough of that good sound. There have been some drawbacks with the PCR50 in that originally the HYPER CANVAS program indicated the unit would be fully functional for five minutes. And the faders and dials did work for the first five minutes and then stopped. I guess I have to purchase the upgrade program for the MIDI2 to work with the vibrato and all.
